Founded: Beurer was founded in 1919 in Ulm, Germany, by Eugen and Käthe Beurer after World War I.
Initial Products: The company began by producing electric heating pads and hairdryers, with electric heating pads being a key early innovation as an alternative to hot water bottles.
Growth: Despite early challenges like the strong inflation in 1923, the company grew, and by 1935, it employed 100 people. Bernhard Beurer, the son of the founders, joined in 1934 and helped with the company’s distribution and growth.

Restart: After World War II, the founders, along with their son Bernhard, restarted the company.
