The SCHILLER FRED Easy AED is a compact, battery-powered automated external defibrillator designed to support rapid treatment during sudden cardiac arrest. Its straightforward START–ANALYSIS–SHOCK workflow, clear on-screen instructions and audible prompts help guide the responder through the defibrillation process.

The device uses SCHILLER’s MULTIPULSE BIOWAVE® pulsed biphasic technology to deliver controlled defibrillation energy. It automatically analyses the patient’s heart rhythm and advises a shock only when a shockable rhythm is detected.

FRED Easy supports both adult and paediatric patients when used with the appropriate electrodes. Connecting paediatric electrodes automatically changes the device to the configured child energy protocol. A high-resolution LCD presents operating instructions and essential information, including battery status, electrode type, number of shocks and elapsed time.

Its lightweight construction, automatic self-testing and long-standby-life battery make it suitable for hospitals, clinics, ambulances, offices, shopping centres, educational institutions, sports facilities, hotels and other public-access locations.
