How to Use the Certeza BM 407 Blood Pressure Monitor?
1. Prepare for Measurement
-
Sit comfortably with your back straight and feet flat on the floor.
-
Rest for at least 5 minutes before taking a reading.
-
Place your arm on a table at heart level and avoid movement.
2. Position the Cuff Correctly
-
Wrap the cuff around your upper arm, 2-3 cm above the elbow.
-
Ensure the air tube is positioned along the inside of your arm.
-
Secure the cuff firmly but not too tight.
3. Start the Measurement
-
Press the power button to turn on the device.
-
Stay still and do not talk while the monitor inflates and measures.
4. Read the Results
-
Your blood pressure and pulse rate will appear on the screen.
-
Check for any irregular heartbeat or hypertension indications.
5. Review Past Readings
-
Press the memory button to view previous stored readings.
-
The device calculates the average of your last 3 readings.
6. Turn Off & Store the Device
-
The monitor automatically switches off after use.
-
Keep it in a safe place for future use.
7. Optional AC Adapter Use
-
The device can be powered with an AC adapter (not included).
-
Remove batteries before using adapter power.
8. Troubleshooting
-
Stay still to avoid movement errors.
-
Replace batteries if the low battery indicator appears.

If an error message is displayed, check cuff placement and restart.
