How to Use the Certeza BM 400 Blood Pressure Monitor?

1. Prepare for Measurement

• Sit comfortably with your back supported and feet flat on the floor.

• Rest for at least 5 minutes before measuring.

• Place your arm on a table at heart level and avoid movement or talking.

2. Position the Cuff Correctly

• Wrap the cuff around your upper arm, 2-3 cm above the elbow.

• Ensure the air tube is positioned along the inside of your arm.

• Secure the cuff snugly but not too tight.

3. Start the Measurement

• Press the power button to turn on the device.

• The monitor will automatically inflate and measure your blood pressure.

• Stay still and do not talk during the process.

4. Read and Understand the Results

• Your blood pressure (systolic & diastolic) and pulse rate will appear on the LCD display.

• If an irregular heartbeat is detected, an indicator will appear.

• The Hypertension Risk Indicator helps assess whether your blood pressure is normal or high.

5. Review Stored Readings

• The memory recall button allows you to view saved readings.

• The device stores 2×120 readings for tracking.

• It also calculates the average of your last 3 readings for accuracy.

6. Power Off & Storage

• The monitor automatically switches off after a short time.

• Store it in the included pouch to keep it protected.

7. Using USB-C Power (Optional)
